U-Konserve was founded in 2008 by two friends who believed that small changes can have a huge impact on the global movement to protect our planet. Concerned about the amount of single-use packaging, they created reusable lunch kits for schools, long before zero-waste hit the headlines.
As the concept gained awareness, more products were developed to create a wide range of reusable food-storage solutions for a zero-waste lifestyle. From storing food at home to out-and-about - at picnics, the office, the beach, the car and everything in between!
After more than a decade of growth and transition, the same goals that helped launch U-Konserve's message of reuse still guide the company today.
The Brand is extremely proud to have achieved B Corp status, an official certification earned by businesses that use the power of the marketplace to help solve social and environmental problems. It's also a member of 1% for the Planet, giving 1% of its annual sales to environmental causes. The initial mission to protect the planet has grown into a lifestyle of reusing more, wasting less, and raising awareness about the exciting and growing movement to reduce single-use plastic.
U-Konserve offers a range of reusable stainless steel food containers designed for packing a healthier, waste-free lunch for school, work and on-the-go.
We started selling U-Konserve products back in 2011 and their products come to work with me every day for lunch even all these years later! (In fact some of them are probably containers I've had since we started selling them!). They just work - and isn't that what you want from something that you use all the time?

A B- CORP with an obsession for reducing single use waste is how I would describe U-Konserve! Their dedication to ethical sourcing, sustainable materials, responsible consumption and community engagement is impressive. On a personal note, I have been using my U-Konserve lunch box and containers for years - 9 I think! I have found them to be be extremely useful and obviously very durable. I recently upgraded the lids on a couple as the new silicone lids are much more flexible and it's handy to be able to see through them. It is a bit like having a new container, without the cost and without the waste. This is product sustainability at its finest - no inbuilt obsolescence with U-Konserve!

Love the placemats. They look gorgeous and do the job well. However the drinks coasters vary in size slightly and curl up at the edges. They are also not completely flat in the middle which means that putting a glass of wine on them is a bit problematic! Ok if you want to use them for heavier glasses/mugs etc
I ordered a couple of placemats for my table in the balcony. They arrived quickly and very well packed, and product itself is great quality.
This is my second purchase of the Paris ian perfume by Ampersand. Such a lovely summer scent, yo be recommended.
