This beautifully illustrated Spring-inspired gift box contains Pump Street's signature single origin chocolate in the form of a hollow chicken sitting on four foiled eggs. The two pink-foiled eggs are Madagascar Milk 58% - a chocolate with hints of red fruits and caramel; and the blue-foiled ones are Ecuador Dark Milk 60%, a chocolate which tastes of nuts, toffee and double cream. The thoughtfully produced packaging has been specially designed to celebrate the best of Spring but also to be respectful to our planet. The beautifully illustrated outer box is fully recyclable, as is the foil, and the clear compostable bag can be placed in your food waste.
The majority of Pump Street's chocolate is made with just cocoa, cocoa butter and a touch of cane sugar. By adding fewer ingredients to the chocolate allows the complexity of the bean to shine.
The pink foil eggs are made exclusively from cocoa from the most famous of all terroirs for Madagascan beans: the Sambirano River Valley. Pump Street is lucky to have been able to source organic cocoa beans from Bertil Akesson, whose 2300 hectare family estate, located in Ambanja, has produced world-famous aromatic cocoa since 1920.
The blue foil eggs are made with cocoa from The Guayas Basin, where the Hacienda Limon Farm is located, on one of the most fertile areas along the Pacific coast. The climate is equatorial, there is an abundance of water resources and volcanic soils, rich in minerals and organic matter, making for the perfect cocoa growing conditions.
The 110-hectare farm is managed by eight local workers. It distinguishes itself from other cocoa farms in Ecuador for the old original pure Cacao Nacional Arriba variety grown there. The farm has been awarded Heirloom Cacao Preservation status. This status ensures the protection and preservation of this fine flavour cacao variety, endangered cacao trees, and the livelihoods and empowerment of the farmers and farming community.
Pump Street Chocolate is clear about the importance of supporting the cocoa farmers it works with. By sourcing the best beans grown with minimal intervention, and through a transparent, ethical, and sustainable supply chain and direct trade, it is able to pay prices far greater than fair trade direct to its growers. Farmers are able to take home a fair wage and give the same to their team members, and to maintain their land and trees in environmentally responsible ways.

Dark milk chocolate contains minimum cocoa solids 60%. May contain cereals containing gluten, eggs, nuts and sesame seeds.
