Charity's Ethical Journey: Wiltshire Living Magazine Feature

In January's edition of Wiltshire Living Magazine, our founder Charity was featured, sharing her love for Wiltshire and providing insights into the sustainable businesses she runs.

If you didn’t already know, Green Tulip is part of a family of ethical businesses, so we thought it might be a good opportunity to share with you what these all are…

💚 Green Tulip – Beautiful feel-good gifts from over 120 ethical brands.
💚 Everyday Green – Eco friendly essentials for your home and everyday life.
💚 The Natural Gift Company – Sustainably sourced ready-to-give natural gift sets.
💚 Respiin and A Slice of Green - two brands which Charity has personally developed and introduced to the market. Respiin is a collection of home accessories created with either recycled or renewable materials and A Slice of Green offers a stylish range of reusable products that can help people work towards a more sustainable lifestyle.
💚 And to top it off, Charity, along with her good friend Beth, co-owns a shop called The Inner Yard near Devizes.

That’s pretty impressive and we honestly don’t know how she fits it all in!

Charity finished the article talking about what her hope for the planet is in the next few years.

"I do think that the environment is becoming more of a priority to people again and sadly it's probably the extreme weather events that make people realise we have to do something. While it is important that all of us consumers play our part and behave as sustainably as we can, it really is the government and businesses around the world that will have the impact that can really make the difference.

In reality people aren't going to stop flying, but if planes can use more sustainable fuel that will make a difference. We're realistically not going to stop buying ready meals, but if they are in biodegradable packaging (or at least recyclable packaging) that has to make a difference too.

As a small business, and local Wiltshire retailer, I'd love to encourage people to think about who they are spending their money with. A favourite quote of mine is from Anna Lappé 'Every time you spend money, you are casting a vote for the kind of world that you want'. "
