We all love a candle, don't we? Here at Green Tulip, we absolutely adore candles as they always make a welcomed gift that adds warmth and ambiance to any space. We love to support small businesses that create amazing eco-friendly products, and The Botanical Candle Co is one of our favourites!

Founded in 2014 by Amalia & James, The Botanical Candle Co started as a kitchen table venture and has blossomed into a beloved local business, employing a team of 12. Handcrafted in Shaftesbury, Dorset, their candles feature unique fragrance blends of fresh, floral, and woody botanicals, all blended, poured, and finished by hand, offering a distinct difference from your everyday scented candles.

what makes Botanical Candle Co’s candles eco-friendly?

Made with Soy Wax: Their candles are made with soy wax, a renewable resource derived from soybeans, making it a sustainable alternative to traditional paraffin wax. It burns cleaner and produces less soot. Plus, they're vegan-friendly too!

Cotton Wick: Botanical Candle Co's candles feature cotton wicks, ensuring a clean and even burn.

Sustainable Packaging: Not a single speck of plastic in sight! Each candle is presented in an amber glass jar or aluminium pot, adding a touch of elegance to any space. The new embossed aluminium lids are also a stylish new addition. After enjoying your candle, simply wash out any residual wax with warm soapy water and repurpose the pot for storage or recycle it.
