This 'Tailors' set of three eco friendly notebooks have covers made from textile waste and pages made from recycled coffee cups! The set includes Navy Wool (plain pages), Camel Tweed (lined pages) and Aubergine Tweed (dotted pages). Comes in a desk friendly A5 size referred to as Medio - a nod to its coffee origins!
Why we love it
Coffee outlets, cafés or retailers as well as other businesses send used paper cups to James Cropper in Cumbria for CupCycling™, the world’s first recycling scheme dedicated to upcycling coffee cups. The CupCycling™ process involves separating out the plastic lining and repurposing it, and then using the remaining fibres to make a signature paper for Coffeenotes.
Coffeenotes cream signature paper is 106gsm and has a subtly textured surface. It is robust and stylish, is fountain pen-friendly and ideal for sketching.
The covers in the Tailors collection are produced from textile waste and come in tweed style textures and wool and cotton flecks. Please note that some covers may have a small amount of wool content, so will not be suitable for vegans.
Printed and bound in Dorset by Coffeenotes. Features saddle stitch binding with rounded corners.
A5 - Medio - 40 pages. Measures approximately 14.5cm wide x 21cm high.
Material: Navy Wool cover: 250gsm, 40% PCW Recycled, 15% wool fibre residues, 45% virgin fibre. Camel Tweed cover: 300gsm, 20% cotton fibres, 20% natural textile fibres, 60% virgin fibre. Aubergine Tweed cover: 300gsm, 20% cotton fibres, 20% natural textile fibres, 60% virgin fibre. Coffeenotes text paper: 106gsm, Variable mix of upcycled coffee cups, PIW from coffee cup manufacture, virgin fibres.
We offer the following delivery options. In all cases you will be provided with a tracking number. Orders received by 10am weekdays will be sent out the same day.

This is our standard delivery option. Usually delivered within two to three working days.
2: ROYAL MAIL TRACKED 24 - £5.00 (Only £1.50 for orders over £50)
A faster service, usually delivered the next working day.
3: DHL EXPRESS - £8.50
Delivery by DHL courier using their express service which usually delivers next day (Monday-Friday only). Order by 11am weekdays for same day dispatch.
We are happy to accept orders from around the world, but only offer delivery within mainland UK (excluding Jersey & Guernsey due to required customs documentation).

I purchased these laundry sheets as I do not now use washing powder. I also have a septic tank, which I am very conscientious about. I have looked at other sheets which require transport, but as these claim to be made in the UK I am all for cutting down the carbon footprint.
