Bamboo absorbs little moisture so resists swelling and warping, making it a superior, long-lasting material for everyday use in the kitchen. It's heat and stain resistant and is lightweight so ideal for taking out and about.

Each utensil is produced from a single piece of organically grown bamboo, then hand shaped, sanded and finished with a food-safe oil produced from vegetable oils and waxes. Food safe tested and approved.

Can be washed in the dishwasher however, as with wooden products, hand washing is recommended to prolong life. Avoid soaking. Not recommended for microwave. If necessary the natural lustre can be rejuvenated with an all natural oil or wax. Biodegradable and compostable at the end of its long life.

It thrives naturally without using any pesticides or fertilisers, takes in greenhouse gasses and produces 35% more oxygen than the equivalent trees. Bambu only uses Moso bamboo for its products, an extremely large variety not eaten by pandas because of its size. The Brand sustainably harvests its plantations every 3-5 years.
