All the pyramid tea bags are made from a fully biodegradable Polylactic Acid (PLA) mesh filter derived from 100% non-GMO sugarcane. The bags are joined at the seams ultrasonically, without the use of heat. Even the string and labels are both attached using ultrasound so no glue is needed.

Packed in a material called NatureFlex™, a cellulose based film from renewable wood pulp proven to be suitable for home composting. It is also marine degradable. Comes beautifully presented in a recyclable card tube that also makes a great pen pot!
