UpCircle Beauty

UPCIRCLE BEAUTY

UpCircle first appeared in April 2016 when sibling co-founders Will and Anna Brightman tested their coffee-based skincare concept at the London Coffee Festival. When their coffee scrubs flew out the door, they thought that just maybe they were onto something - so they quit their jobs and risked it all to nurture their by-product beauty baby!

The story behind UpCircle Beauty

RAPID GROWTH

By the end of 2017 the siblings were regularly collecting coffee grounds from over 100 artisan coffee shops. Expansion was needed so in August 2018 Will and Anna pitched in Dragon's Den - and walked away victorious! The duo agreed a deal but they never proceeded and pushed forward on their own. They subsequently unified the Brand themselves, unveiling a fresh new look and name, with its circular economy mission front and centre. This was closely followed by three brand new products featuring five repurposed ingredients, and the launch of a refill scheme to help close the loop on packaging.

B CORP STATUS

Today, the circular ethos of the Brand in reducing waste is stronger than ever. It's won countless Beauty Industry awards and is extremely proud to have achieved B Corp status, an official certification earned by businesses that have a beneficial impact on the world, whilst being profitable. Simply put, companies that use their business for good!

Anna & Will also take huge pride in their ever-growing UpCircle Team, who enjoy participating in volunteering days of their choice such as beach cleans and helping out at food banks. 💚💚

Skincare that's kind to skin and kind to the planet

UpCircle Beauty is a pioneering skincare brand that's regenerative by design. Its high performance skincare products are made from natural upcycled ingredients that would otherwise have been discarded by industry, and its packaging is 100% recyclable.

    Why I Love UpCircle Beauty

UpCircle has been on my radar for a few years, and we even stocked a few of their products back in 2020 just after they launched. I've been so impressed to see how they have innovated over that time and they've now become a serious player in the eco skincare market, producing products that are both natural and perform to rival the big brands. I can confirm they also smell amazing (particularly the shampoo and conditioner which I'm loving using!).
