Earth Squared
Earth Squared started some 22 years ago after founder, Alison Henderson, returned from two years’ volunteering in social projects in Guatemala. Passionate about social justice and with a head for business, Alison wanted to start a fair trade business with an emphasis very much on design and quality.
Earth Squared are working hard to reduce their impact on the planet including new initiatives like biodegradable, compostable, recyclable and marine friendly eco packaging - designed so that products reach you in perfect condition, these bags use Hydropol TM which look and protect like plastic but with zero end of life problems. They also use recycled fabrics wherever possible. As and ALL the products we sell have fully recycled lining.
Earth Squared became a B Corporation in 2023 - a certification which means they balance purpose and profit and are legally obliged to consider the impact of their decisions on the environment as well as their customers, workers and community.
These charming beaded bags and purses are crafted with intricate glass beadwork and lined with sturdy cotton canvas. Each design has its own playful personality, from colourful sardines to a sweet puffin on waves to a bold heart pattern, making them perfect as cheerful little organisers or standout statement accessories.

Ordered some lovely woven table mats with coloured edging. Nicely packaged prompt service with update on despatch.
Quality of the product is lovely they hold shape well and when I apply some porridge on the on the first outing they mopped up nicely without losing any structural integrity. I would definitely recommend.
The placemats and coasters are lovely, really nice colours.
They were first used for a large family meal, everyone commented how lovely they were!
