These elegant drop earrings feature a large natural pearl for a classic look that never dates. As the pearls used for these earrings are natural, they may be slightly irregular in shape which adds to the character of the piece. Mounted on gold plated hook fasteners suitable for pierced ears.

Handmade by artisans at the Hope Jewellery fair trade project in Peru, providing regular work for more than thirty women. Hooks gold plated in the UK. Mounted on a recyclable card detailing the fair trade nature of the product.
In Peru there is a lack of part time, fairly paid work, especially for women living in the sprawling shanty towns of Lima. The options are either working as a housekeeper in the wealthy part of town or in a textile factory; both of which involve lengthy travel, long hours and leaving their children unattended or in the care of the wider family.
The project is based in four areas of Peru, two in the shanty towns in Lima (La Tablada and California) and two provincial cities (Ayacucho and Cajamarca). Since 2006 Just Trade has worked hand in hand with Hope Jewellery to provide part time, fairly paid work that the women can do from home, or close to home. This has made a significant difference to their household incomes, meaning the women have been able to improve their homes, pay for medical treatment and educate their children, as well as spend more time with their families.
Just Trade has provided extensive training in technique and design, which has given the artisans the confidence to design and make their own products.

2: ROYAL MAIL TRACKED 24 - £5.00 (Only £1.50 for orders over £50)
A faster service, usually delivered the next working day.
3: DHL EXPRESS - £8.50
Delivery by DHL courier using their express service which usually delivers next day (Monday-Friday only). Order by 11am weekdays for same day dispatch.
We are happy to accept orders from around the world, but only offer delivery within mainland UK (excluding Jersey & Guernsey due to required customs documentation).
