This creamy, luxurious whole milk chocolate has notes of caramel and treacle with a zesty finish characteristic of organic Madagascan beans from the Akesson's Organic Estate in Ambanja. It will appeal to those with a sweet tooth as well as dark chocolate devotees.
Why we love it
The majority of Pump Street's chocolate bars are made with just cocoa, cocoa butter and a touch of cane sugar. By adding fewer ingredients to the bars allows the complexity of the bean to shine.
This chocolate is made exclusively from cocoa from the most famous of all terroirs for Madagascan beans: the Sambirano River Valley. Pump Street is lucky to have been able to source organic cocoa beans from Bertil Akesson, whose 2300 hectare family estate, located in Ambanja, has produced world-famous aromatic cocoa since 1920.
Pump Street Chocolate is clear about the importance of supporting the cocoa farmers it works with. By sourcing the best beans grown with minimal intervention, and through a transparent, ethical, and sustainable supply chain and direct trade, it is able to pay prices far greater than fair trade direct to its growers. Farmers are able to take home a fair wage and give the same to their team members, and to maintain their land and trees in environmentally responsible ways.
Handmade in Orford, Suffolk by a family-run company made up of bakers and chocolate makers. Everything it produces is a reflection of the finest produce, farming and agriculture that surround the brand's location on the Suffolk Heritage Coast.
Available in two sizes:-
70g - bar traditionally packaged in aluminium foil and a luxury paper wrapper. Please separate the foil from the paper before recycling.
20g - packaged in a beautiful, resealable pouch which is fully compostable. Pouch measures approximately 6.5cm wide x 10cm long.
Ingredients: Organic cocoa beans, cane sugar, milk powder, organic cocoa butter. May contain milk, cereals containing gluten, eggs, nuts and sesame seeds.
We offer the following delivery options. In all cases you will be provided with a tracking number. Orders received by 10am weekdays will be sent out the same day.

A faster service, usually delivered the next working day.
3: DHL EXPRESS - £8.50
Delivery by DHL courier using their express service which usually delivers next day (Monday-Friday only). Order by 11am weekdays for same day dispatch.
We are happy to accept orders from around the world, but only offer delivery within mainland UK (excluding Jersey & Guernsey due to required customs documentation).
