The story behind Cycle of Good
SKILLED FAIR TRADE TAILORS

CYCLE OF GOOD
Located in Longton, Stoke on Trent, Cycle of Good is a fundraising initiative which is part of a wonderful hub of social enterprises created by registered charity The Krizevac Project. The Krizevac Project is a different kind of charity achieving lasting positive change for some of Africa’s most needy communities in enterprising ways. 100% of all money made by Cycle of Good helps to fund social enterprise, early years childcare and family support in Chilomoni Township, Malawi which is one of the poorest countries in the world.
All of the Cycle of Good team in Malawi live in Chilomoni where the workshop is situated. The enterprises together employ 500 people who have all completed a two year diploma in tailoring and design using old sewing machines donated from the UK. They have also completed further training focused on accessories production, offered by international volunteers. Proceeds from the enterprises fund a vital children’s centre, providing early years care and family support to around 2000 vulnerable children at any one time. It’s a quiet revolution of skills building and economic growth in a country with no welfare state: if you don’t earn, you don’t eat.
What’s particularly special about The Cycle of Good is that many of the enterprises are part of a circular economy; reusing unwanted or waste products from the UK and turning them into profit. The company has shipped thousands of books, bikes, computers and sewing machines, which are refurbished, used for training or sold to create a surplus that funds international standard childcare and the building of new schools.
That's why it’s called the Cycle of Good!
Cycle of Good ticks so many boxes for me and I'm proud to have had it in our assortment for the last few years. Not only do the products support employment in Malawi and use up material that would otherwise go to waste, they are also really practical to use...and are pretty cool too!

Ordered deodorant, toothbrushes and interdental brushes and they were delivered quickly, in great condition and eco packaging.
Prices were the best I could find and I love that they're a Living Wage employer.
Great products and peace of mind because they're ethically run. Definitely will order again
I couldn't be more pleased with every aspect of my Green Tulip experience. The reusable food storage containers are not only highly functional but gorgeous as well, and the swift, plastic-free packaging was awesome.
Green Tulip are so accommodating. I ordered their Kochi stainless steel food containers which are an ideal size for me as a single person and perfect for freezing. Green Tulip were happy to order in more for me and to let me know when they'd received them. I shall definitely be looking at what else I can order from them. Their delivery times are quick as well, an excellent company.
Hi! I bought these gloves and they died on the 3d day. It’s funny cause the only thing I was doing in them — loading and unloading a dishwasher with the same type of plates. Nothing else. Also my hands smell latex after. Wanted to be green but spent money on nothing:( the service was good though.
Excellent love them x will use again xx
