These organic cotton facial pads are designed as a replacement for disposable cleansing wipes or cotton wool. Each pad has towelling fabric on one side to naturally exfoliate and cleanse the skin, and ultra soft, organic cotton velvet on the other, perfect for wiping tired eyes after a long day. 9.5cm diameter.
Why we love it
Contains five pads measuring approximately 9.5cm diameter.
Wet with warm water, apply make up remover, soap or cleanser to the velvet side and gently wipe eyes. Use the reverse to cleanse and gently exfoliate the rest of the face. Once used, pop into a washbag (or loose) and throw in the washing machine with similar colours on a 30 degree wash. An organic cotton mesh drawstring bag is available to purchase separately - useful for keeping used pads from getting lost in the laundry bin!
Made from GOTS certified organic cotton stitched with polycotton thread for strength and durability.
The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the worldwide leading textile processing standard for organic fibres and means the entire textile supply chain is independently certificated including both ecological and social criteria. The cotton is grown on non GM, small farms in South India where the dry climate helps the cotton to grow well. It is then woven in GOTS certified weaving units and made into useful, reusable products, encouraging a more sustainable lifestyle with less waste.
Produced responsibly by a small family run business at their own sewing unit in Tamil Nadu, India. A Slice of Green visited the unit in 2018 and were impressed by the high standards maintained there.

I absolutely love these cotton facial pads and use them every evening to remove make up and for general facial cleansing. This is the second set of these pads I have bought from Green Tulip and the first set are still going strong. They wash really well and are soft enough to cope with my rosacea prone skin. Love the fact that I no longer have to buy disposable cotton wool pads and am doing my bit for the environment.

Hi! I bought these gloves and they died on the 3d day. It’s funny cause the only thing I was doing in them — loading and unloading a dishwasher with the same type of plates. Nothing else. Also my hands smell latex after. Wanted to be green but spent money on nothing:( the service was good though.
