The story goes that founders Andy and Ben, shared the same struggle of standard towels being too chunky for their backpacks while travelling. Following some intense brainstorming involving a big red curtain and pieces of white paper (creating their now-iconic stripes), D&B’s quick dry, compact wonders were born. Six years, a visit to the Den and over 100 products later, the team are on a mission to make the world a whole lot brighter.
Now with a team of over 30 people, they are taking the brand to the next level, including big steps in giving back to the planet. Making products from 100% recycled materials that lasts the long haul. Because the most sustainable product is the one you don't have to replace. Their design philosophy - Make it last or don't make it. Every single one of their products is made from 100% recycled materials. More specifically - plastic. It’s shredded, then woven into the lovely material that makes every item.
What does this mean for Dock & Bay? Their priorities are to exist to the highest social and environmental standards for both people and the planet. They aren’t simply about making a profit, they're about making a difference for the benefit of everyone and the Earth.

Ordered some lovely woven table mats with coloured edging. Nicely packaged prompt service with update on despatch.
Quality of the product is lovely they hold shape well and when I apply some porridge on the on the first outing they mopped up nicely without losing any structural integrity. I would definitely recommend.
The placemats and coasters are lovely, really nice colours.
