About the Brand
Helleo is a small, creative, sustainable business located in the city of Heraklion, on the beautiful Greek island of Crete. The brand produce high quality natural, handmade soaps and room fragrances from organic extra virgin olive oil cultivated from its own olive groves.

Founder Manos comes from a family of olive farmers, inheriting his own olive groves from his grandparents. With environmental awareness and respect to tradition, he has continued to cultivate these olive trees in the natural way, with no pesticides, tilling or burning; doing his best to produce the purest extra virgin olive oil without harming nature. But instead of focusing on selling the oil, Manos took the decision to develop the business by making high quality, cold pressed soap.

Manos has also diversified the business to set up his own natural food forest where he grows fruit, flowers and herbs. Any waste is composted and used to feed the plants and trees. These high-quality, organic ingredients are used in the unique soap bar blends Helleo produce, along with other ingredients from small local farms where they know the producers personally.

The uniqueness of the Helleo products and production process is illustrated on their beautifully designed packaging so that the customer can enjoy the story. All materials used in the packaging are plastic-free and recyclable or compostable.
