Zero Waste Goodie Bag - Blue

Add to wish list
This zero waste goodie bag makes a unique gift and proves that simplicity can look fabulous without using huge amounts of plastic packaging which is continuing to pollute our planet.

The drawstring bag itself is made from 100% upcycled white cotton which is dyed by hand in natural black beans resulting in a blue-grey, slightly faded tie-dye effect. The irregularity of the colour makes each bag unique and is part of its natural charm and character.

The goody bag contains:-

Pine Soap Bar - 100g
A luxurious all-in-one, moisturising and refreshing shea butter natural soap bar suitable for the face, hands and body making it a handy companion when travelling. It is coloured using natural red clay and is very gently scented with a blend of pine, eucalyptus and white thyme essential oils, giving it a wonderful fragrance fresh from the forest! The addition of pure organic shea butter and coconut oil creates a soft and abundant lather leaving the skin incredibly soft and moisturised. At the final stage of the soap making process, 5% of the oil blend is added to the mixture which results in the end product being much more moisturising than standard soaps. Thanks to its soft lather this bar can also be used as a shaving soap, with or without the use of a shaving brush.

Cinnamon & Orange Solid Lotion - 100g
A solid moisturiser suitable for the face and body that can be applied to dry as well as damp skin. The bar contains extra virgin olive oil, sweet almond oil, organic unrefined cocoa butter, shea butter and candelilla wax to give the bar a more solid form and help the oils contained to absorb into the skin. A blend of orange and cinnamon essential oils offers a sweet and spicy fragrance for that lovely warming feeling during the cold winter months.

Almighty Balm - 40g
Perfect for lips or problem dry patches of skin, this balm is very delicate and left unscented making it suitable for all skin types. It contains extra virgin olive oil, organic unrefined cocoa butter, vitamin E oil and candelilla wax, providing intense and long lasting hydration, and perfect for all year round. Comes in 100% tinplate tin with brown paper label.

The idea for a Zero Waste Path Shop was born when two Italians, Bianca and Giulio moved to the UK to pursue their sustainability postgraduate studies.

Living in Rome, Bianca decided at the beginning of 2016 to try and produce less waste after reading an article about Lauren Singer and her trash jar. Being a Political Science graduate, Bianca moved to Scotland to follow her passion for the environment and complete a Masters' Degree in Environmental Sustainability. Together with Giulio, her very patient boyfriend, Bianca began her zero waste journey and in February 2018, decided she wanted to use what they had learned to create something that put their values into practice. They learned more about ingredients, processes and materials, and 6 months later they began producing home made zero waste products in small batches.

The couple recently moved to Cambridge where Giulio is studying a PhD in International Environmental Law, so Bianca is currently running the business solo and still makes all the products herself. She continues to put a huge amount of effort into creating a range of body care products that are sustainable in every aspect, from the ingredients used, production methods, packaging materials, and the energy used in all processes.
