'Purity' Solid Cleansing Bar

A stylish addition to the plastic free bathroom, this solid cleansing bar is highly concentrated; containing just natural goodness without any water to dilute it. This formulation enables the bar to be very compact, and although small, lasts as long, or even longer than a conventional bottle of cleanser that when empty, takes around 500 years to biodegrade.

'Purity' contains cedarwood and lemon essential oils, with activated charcoal known for its detoxifying and clarifying powers and its amazing ability to absorb and draw out excess oil from the skin. Combined with antiseptic tea tree oil which is also antibacterial and antimicrobial, this bar offers double the cleansing effect. It gently exfoliates the skin, drawing out dirt and toxins, leaving it feeling smooth and refreshed. Perfect for use on oily skin either as a body wash or as a skin clearing facial wash. Please note that if you have dry skin, activated charcoal may be a little bit too drying. After each use stand the bar somewhere dry to air. A natural loofah slice makes a fantastic compostable soap rest, and is available to purchase separately.

Hand crafted by a small team in Lithuania from natural and organic ingredients. Produced in small batches to ensure maximum freshness and packaged in a black, plastic-free compostable box made from starch, bamboo and charcoal, without any synthetic dyes added.

Presented in plastic-free packaging produced from starch, bamboo, and charcoal. Bamboo is one of the most sustainable materials on earth, growing up to a metre per day. To make this box, bamboo is processed together with natural starch. The material is dyed with charcoal without using synthetic dyes.

About the Brand
The idea for SOLIDU started when Founder Vaiva decided to get rid of all of her belongings to travel the world with only a backpack. Knowing she would be pressed for space, she discovered solid cosmetic products and marked the birth of SOLIDU as we know it!

Today, SOLIDU Cosmetics is an environmentally conscious, women-owned innovative cosmetics brand from Lithuania, creating low-waste solid body and hair care products packaged in environmentally friendly compostable boxes. The brand continuously aims to empower ambitious Lithuanian women to join a meaningful mission, with the team being around 90% female.

Most everyday haircare products contain around 80% water. SOLIDU bars are made only from the necessary elements: skin-loving active ingredients, botanical oils, extracts, and natural essential oils. The lack of water allows them to create a small and compact product, which is not only is plastic-free, it also reduces transport emissions.

Plastic pollution is one of the major threats currently facing humanity. The cosmetics industry is a huge contributor to this plastic waste and Solidu decided from the onset that they wanted to be different.
