'No Knots' Solid Conditioner Bar

A stylish addition to the plastic free bathroom, this solid conditioner bar is highly concentrated; containing just natural goodness without any water to dilute it. This formulation, suitable for all hair types, enables the bar to be very compact, and although small, lasts as long as several conventional bottles of conditioner that when empty, take around 500 years to biodegrade.

'No Knots' is enriched with soft mango butter, jojoba oil, unrefined cocoa butter and silk amino acids; a natural protein extracted from raw silk. Mango butter has a high percentage of fatty acids, minerals, and vitamins; and jojoba oil gives an added protection against dryness, breakage, and split ends. It is also rich in vitamins and minerals that nourish hair, including vitamin C, vitamin E, B vitamins, copper, and zinc. The bar is scented with citrusy lime and a note of coriander and frankincense essential oils to detangle hair, giving it extra shine and smoothness.

The bar has a modern faceted shape for ease of application. Simply lather the bar in your hands, glide it evenly over wet hair and massage in. The top, pale yellow part of the bar will offer more intense conditioning and nourishing, so perfect for use on dry ends. The brighter yellow bottom part is perfect to use closer to the roots, as it offers lighter conditioning, and will not weigh hair down or leave it feeling greasy. Rinse well to eliminate any residue and stand the bar somewhere dry to air. A natural loofah slice makes a fantastic compostable conditioner rest, and is available to purchase separately.

To make this box, bamboo is processed together with natural starch. The material is dyed with charcoal without using synthetic dyes.

About the Brand
The idea for SOLIDU started when Founder Vaiva decided to get rid of all of her belongings to travel the world with only a backpack. Knowing she would be pressed for space, she discovered solid cosmetic products and marked the birth of SOLIDU as we know it!

Today, SOLIDU Cosmetics is an environmentally conscious, women-owned innovative cosmetics brand from Lithuania, creating low-waste solid body and hair care products packaged in environmentally friendly compostable boxes. The brand continuously aims to empower ambitious Lithuanian women to join a meaningful mission, with the team being around 90% female.

Most everyday haircare products contain around 80% water. SOLIDU bars are made only from the necessary elements: skin-loving active ingredients, botanical oils, extracts, and natural essential oils. The lack of water allows them to create a small and compact product, which is not only is plastic-free, it also reduces transport emissions.

Plastic pollution is one of the major threats currently facing humanity. The cosmetics industry is a huge contributor to this plastic waste and Solidu decided from the onset that they wanted to be different.
