In 2006 Cornish founder Will Ward had the idea for Hazel & Pip whilst travelling India after finishing university. He became captivated by the diversely coloured fabrics, the decorative patterns which adorned them and how nature and wildlife were sewn into the very fabric of Indian life.
Will returned home to his sandy corner of Cornwall and with a focus on quality and sustainability, he aspired to create prints using Cornwall as inspiration for his designs, drawing influence from the native flora and fauna of Looe Island, the untamed backwoods of Bodmin Moor to the windswept beaches and rugged charm of the Cornish coastline. In 2016 Hazel & Pip was born.
Today the Hazel & Pip has grown enormously and whilst still proudly reflecting its Cornish heritage, it pays homage to Will's inspirational journey through India by remaining true to his original ethos of a sustainable and ethical brand.
