Give nature a helping hand with cosy nests for birds and hedgehogs made from pure Dartmoor wool. Wool makes a fantastic nesting material and birds collect it naturally in the wild wherever sheep graze. As well as being a cosy liner, it doesn’t retain water in the nest and will fully biodegrade in time.
Why we love it
A decline in natural habitats means our gardens are more important than ever for wildlife. Super sustainable Twool nesting wool for birds and hoglets is a by-product from the carding process of twine manufacturing. Packaged in a cutely illustrated recyclable card box.
For birds, the best place to hang your woolly bird box is on or close to a feeding station. Birds are attracted to feeding stations by the sound of other birds and so more gather. You can also dispense the wool into a fat ball pecker or any other empty bird feeder.
For hedgehogs, place a little in the house and some more nearby. Hedgehogs, similarly to birds, like to make their own nest so will find the stash of lovely wool and drag it into the house.
White faced Dartmoor sheep are one of Britain's most ancient breeds - sadly now classified as at risk. Dartmoor National Park farmers breed and tend the sheep to preserve them, and have very small flocks.

Delivery by DHL courier using their express service which usually delivers next day (Monday-Friday only). Order by 11am weekdays for same day dispatch.
We are happy to accept orders from around the world, but only offer delivery within mainland UK (excluding Jersey & Guernsey due to required customs documentation).
