A very clever idea for those who often forget to take a reusable coffee cup whilst out and about! This 8oz silicone Hunu cup collapses concertina-style to a small disc, making it easy to always have with you for takeaway drinks on the go. 8oz/255ml capacity.
Why we love it
Although initially designed with coffee drinkers in mind, of course the cup is suitable for all drinks, both hot and cold. It includes a stretchy heat band for a comfortable hold - just remember to pop the band on before filling the cup!
Made from high-quality, durable food-grade silicone, this charcoal cup can withstand the microwave, dishwasher and freezer; and it's certified free of BPA, toxins and all sorts of other nasty chemicals. It meets the highest world standards for food safety and unlike cheaper plastic cups, the silicone won't leech anything into your drinks.
The lid features a concealed air hole to make drinking easier and a leak resistant plug to keep pockets and bags clean after use. The lid and plug are made from polypropylene plastic, which has been made from recycled plastic. Although the lid can only be recycled in a specific process and silicone does not biodegrade naturally, the HUNU team are working with partners to find a recycling solution and aim to introduce an ‘end of life’ service in the future.
As silicone is a flexible material please handle with care, being mindful not to squeeze the cup when filled with hot liquids to avoid scolding. When placing the lid on the cup, hold the rim with one hand and press the lid on with the other - it's designed to be tight fitting to prevent any leakage. DO NOT try to put the lid on without holding the rim as this may cause the cup to collapse!

Cup and lid are dishwasher safe. However, to prolong the life of the insulation band , hand wash is recommended. The cup is suitable for use in a microwave , but the lid and band are not.
