Bramley Products do not contain any harmful or unethical ingredients. Everything in the range is free from petrochemicals, sulphates, artificial colours, artificial fragrances, parabens, microbeads, silicones, propylene glycol and phthalates.

The essential oils used are fair trade, wildcrafted, grown sustainably and sourced carefully with integrity. The base ingredients is naturally derived from raw materials such as sugar and coconut and the wax comes from soya. All ingredients used are also biodegradable.

Palm oil is not bought as a standalone ingredient but it may be fractionally used within botanically-based compounds, avoiding the use of synthetic and petro-chemical alternatives where possible.

Bramley is against the use of non-sustainable palm oil and their suppliers have also confirmed this principle. However, the cosmetics industry works with palm oil as it is vital in order to be able to produce robust surfactants and emulsifiers. Where it is used in any compounds, Bramley will only source from companies that are members of the RSPO (Roundtable for Sustainable Palm Oil). This organisation ensures that all the palm oil produced and sold under its name comes from sustainable sources and does not lead to more rainforest destruction.

Bramley's packaging is 100% recyclable and biopolymer meaning sugar cane is used in the manufacturing process rather than fossil fuels making Bramley safe for the environment as well as safe for your body.

Bramley is produced in Wells, Somerset. The flowers and leaves on the packaging depict the celebration of the British countryside that inspires the range and also reflect the naturalness of the products.

Bramley's range is deliberately small and produced in small batches to ensure optimum freshness and quality.

The Bramley range was created in 2009 by Chloë (previously at Cowshed) for the guest bathrooms of The Beckford Arms Country Inn near Tisbury, Wiltshire. Customers and residents loved the products and word soon spread with wholesale and mail order requests soon flooding in.

Bramley can now be found in over 350 like-minded hotels, pubs, restaurants and shops and Chloë continues to develop fabulous new products to add to the range.
