Made with true single origin, Fino de Aroma certified cacao, a special type of cacao classified by the International Cocoa Organisation (ICCO) for its fruity, flowery and nutty malt notes. Only 8% of the cocoa produced in the world is Cacao Fino de Aroma, 76% of which is produced in Colombia, Peru, Ecuador and Venezuela.

Fatso sources all its cacao from Luker's Farm in Colombia. Luker is a family owned business and co-operative that is 100% ethically driven. Not only does it grow delicious, sustainable cocoa that has been awarded the highest chocolate classification in the business, it also works closely with a network of farmers, alliances and communities to improve social welfare, biodiversity and farming practices. The co operative is driven by a passion to transform the Colombian people’s lives and livelihoods for the better, to protect and enhance the world’s environment, and make delicious chocolate along the way.

Luker is also the Founder of The Chocolate Dream, a philanthropic initiative that ensures sustainable development in the cocoa territories.; from improving farmer income, strengthening the social wellbeing of local communities, and maintaining an environmental balance in coca growing communities. Fatso is a partner of the Chocolate Dream, which means that for every bar purchased, funds are going toward life changing projects from improving access to education to creating access to clean safe drinking water in villages.

Made in Richmond and wrapped in a compostable bio-film produced from renewable wood pulp sustainably harvested from sustainably managed forests. Packaged in a fun illustrated recyclable card box.
