Style hair without harming the environment with this pack of 27 eco friendly hair bands. The bands are made from natural rubber and organic cotton, making them a great plastic free alternative to the standard synthetic hair bands widely available.

Hundreds of millions of people around the world use hair bands, and almost all of them are made from synthetic materials that either never ever decompose or take thousands of years to do so. When thinking about how many hair bands in our lifetime that we have snapped, lost, thrown out, or see left on the ground outside somewhere, they regrettably end up in landfills, polluting our environment.

Made responsibly in China. Comes with card packaging made from 100% recycled kraft board. At the end of its life, each tie can be put in with the household compost.

Hairband thickness approximately 0.5cm. Can be stretched up to a maximum of 19cm in diameter.

He came up with the idea after noticing hair ties scattered on the ground whilst walking on city streets and in parks. After finding out that standard hair ties are made of materials that do not easily decompose, the duo set about creating an eco-friendly version which would biodegrade once lost or thrown away at the end of its life. Terra Ties can be disposed of in compost bins where they will completely break down.Jamie & Jack work closely with their manufacturer in China who they visited in 2019.

Delivery by DHL courier using their express service which usually delivers next day (Monday-Friday only). Order by 11am weekdays for same day dispatch.

We are happy to accept orders from around the world, but only offer delivery within mainland UK (excluding Jersey & Guernsey due to required customs documentation).
