A stylish addition to the plastic free bathroom, this solid body butter bar is highly concentrated; containing just natural goodness without any water to dilute it. This formulation enables the bar to be very compact, and although small, lasts as long, or even longer than a conventional bottle of body lotion that when empty, takes around 500 years to biodegrade.
'It's Thyme' contains thyme essential oil, black cumin oil, murumuru butter and triglycerides from coconut oil. Thyme essential oil contains thymol and borneol, which are known for their strong antiseptic effect. It is one of the most powerful essential oils, and even at a low percentage, it improves the condition of skin and provides antibacterial benefits. Thyme is blended with patchouli, cedarwood, pink grapefruit and lemon essential oils to provide a superior antioxidant effect as well as a relaxing herbal aroma.
The bar has a modern faceted shape for ease of application. It is best used after showering as it comfortably melts on warm and slightly damp skin offering lasting moisturisation and nourishment, but can also be re-applied as needed during the day. After use the bar can be stored in its stylish black box, which comes with an elastic band closure.

Organic black cumin seed oil contains a high level of anti-oxidants, linoleic acid (vitamin F), and thymoquinone, which is a powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory compound. It helps to relieve skin discomfort, keeping it hydrated and supple.
Exotic murumuru butter is a rich emollient & moisturiser, which helps to improve the skin’s elasticity, soothing it, and locking in the moisture. It is extracted from the seeds of the Astrocaryum murumuru tree, native to the Amazon in Brazil and Peru. Murumuru seeds are abundant in vitamins as well as myristic, oleic, and lauric acids. As the murumuru butter is obtained from the fallen seeds of the murumuru palm, it provides a livelihood for communities in the region and encourages the preservation of these palms. The murumuru butter used in this bar holds a certification of commitment to ethical sourcing (UEBT).
Triglycerides from coconut oil are both deeply moisturising and nourishing to the skin, they naturally contain plenty of skin nutrients and antioxidants giving skin a silky feel and nurturing benefits, murumuru, along with shea and cocoa butters create a barrier to seal the moisture in for lasting effect.

The brand continuously aims to empower ambitious Lithuanian women to join a meaningful mission, with the team being around 90% female.
Most everyday haircare products contain around 80% water. SOLIDU bars are made only from the necessary elements: skin-loving active ingredients, botanical oils, extracts, and natural essential oils. The lack of water allows them to create a small and compact product, which is not only is plastic-free, it also reduces transport emissions.
Plastic pollution is one of the major threats currently facing humanity. The cosmetics industry is a huge contributor to this plastic waste and Solidu decided from the onset that they wanted to be different.
SOLIDU is changing the way the world looks at cosmetics and, in turn, is creating a better life for future generations.
