All Bloom products are made by hand in small batches at their workshop near Penzance, Cornwall.
The natural ingredients contained in Bloom's products are inspired by the company's beautiful Cornish surroundings. Bloom do not use any harsh synthetics or parabens, phthalates, artificial colourings or fragrances, SLS, DEA's, PEG's, mineral oils or petrochemicals. Many of these man made ingredients have been linked to hormone disruption, identified as potential carcinogens and are known skin irritants.
Bloom Remedies also consider the origin of their ingredients to be extremely important. They source local essential oils where possible, and they have always avoided using any ingredients that are linked to environmental damage or species over-harvesting (eg palm oil, and sandalwood mysore).
Bloom never test on animals, or source any ingredients that have been tested on animals either. All ingredients, formulas and products however, are analysed and tested by an independent cosmetic chemist and comply with EU regulations, to ensure they are more than safe for everyday use.
The company also focuses quite heavily on sustainability, using recycled glass and card packaging for their products. They also reuse the boxes and packaging materials received from their wholesale suppliers.
