This hydrating face serum is 100% oil based and helps minimise the signs of ageing such as wrinkles and dark spots. It works through occlusion, an effective method that locks in the hydration provided by the moisturiser by forming a protective seal over the skin. It is rich in vitamin C and antioxidant-bursting coffee and rosehip oils and is suitable for all skin types.

The coffee oil is extracted from repurposed coffee grounds collected from artisan coffee shops around London. It is a great ingredient for skin care products because the antioxidants in coffee increase as it is brewed. The caffeine helps stimulate blood flow, which in turn helps combat skin conditions like eczema, acne, cellulite and stretch marks. It is also helping to reduce the amount of waste produced by coffee shops every day. Rosehip oil is rich in antioxidants and vitamin A, and packed with linoleic (omega-6) and linolenic (omega-3) essential fatty acids.

Use morning and night after moisturiser to help boost collagen and keep skin firm. Apply a few drops to finger tips and massage into skin. Also excellent as a hair or beard oil - jojoba oil softens hair whilst rosehip keeps the skin beneath healthy and reduces irritation.

Made in the UK with oil extracted from top-quality Arabica coffee grounds sourced from artisan coffee shops. Comes in glass bottle with a recyclable plastic cap, rubber bulb and glass pipette. Presented in recyclable card box.

Vegan friendly. Free from palm oil.

Bottle measures approximately 10.5cm high x 3cm diameter.

The UpCircle story started with the idea of giving used coffee grounds a new lease of life. In 2016, founders William and Anna Brightman went to London Coffee Festival and rescued bags and bags of waste coffee grounds from being thrown out. They used the grounds to formulate a natural face scrub and body scrub, and soon became aware that they were on to something. By the end of 2017, they were regularly collecting grounds from over 80 artisan coffee shops, and the following year secured a deal on Dragon's Den with Touker Suleyman and Tej Lalvani.

Today, UpCircle has transformed more than 250 tonnes of coffee grounds into sustainable skincare. They have also formulated several other beauty products from food ingredients that are being discarded yet still have much to offer our skin. Ten discarded chai spices from the production of chai syrup are used to fragrance their soaps and the production of fruit oil leaves behind all the goodness in the stones; fruit stone powders are rich in vitamins A, C and E and work well in facial moisturisers, masks and balms.
