PUP-MERMAID
Out-of-stock

These gorgeous wool character puppets are hand made in Canada from upcycled clothing. As a result each one is just as unique as the child who adopts it!

Although each puppet will always be the same shape, no two mermaids will ever be the same. All of the materials used to make the puppet are from recycled wool clothing therefore how a puppet looks completely depends on the materials available at the time. Not only is this process environmentally responsible but it also ensures that each puppet is truly a one of a kind creation never to be duplicated (and each puppet has a label on it's back highlighting the fact that it is '1 of 1').

The mermaid puppets have real character - a full head of hair, bra top and of course a fishy tail

The pictures show the shape and design of each puppet and a selection of three of that character. The one you order will be different from those shown.

Suitable from birth. Machine wash warm and dry low.

Approx 25cm tall.

RECYCLED

Cate & Levi make all of their toys and puppets in their own workshop in Toronto, Canada. They collect recycled wool and wool mix clothing from recycling centres around the Toronto area, have these industrially washed and preshrunk, and then turn them into wonderful puppets and toys.

All materials are sourced as close to home as possible. This process cuts down on the shipping and reduces their carbon footprint. The choice of reclaimed wool reduces demand for new materials that require both water and oil for production. Founder Josh Title's aim is for his products to leave the softest possible pawprint on the planet!

Cate & Levi give a percentage of their profits to funds that help children in need. It is important to Josh to set a good example for his children and to build a company that his family can be proud of.
