ORGANIC

Organic cotton that is GOTS certified means that all parts of the supply chain have been audited, not just the cotton farmer or the sewing factory. Dying, printing and embroidery units are certified and controlled once a year by independent institutions. With GOTS all harsh chemicals are avoided in the traditional cotton manufacturing process, resulting in clothes that are soft and feel good on a baby's skin.

FAIR TRADE

Sense Organics ensures fair working conditions and salaries for the employees in their factories. Over the years, they have developed strong relationships with their producers and they are more like family instead of agents. These trustful relationships and the fact that they have their own employees to support production on-site, helped to ensure that the working conditions in their factories are fair and sustainable.

All commercial partners in production are certified to Social Accountability standard SA8000, the most widely recognised global standard for managing human rights in the workplace.

Long before eco fashion became popular, founder Kirsten Weihe-Keidel dreamed of a range of organic cotton baby and toddler clothes that would be affordable and accessible to all parents. The idea came from some wise words that her grandma always used to say "We are not rich enough to buy cheap", and in 1996 Kirsten founded Sense Organics to bring durable, sustainable clothing for the smallest to all.

With every purchase at Sense Organics, you help us make the world a bit better, one small piece at a time. This supports current and future generations.
