This green and white striped hand-crafted elephant is organic inside and out. It is made and stuffed with the softest organic Egyptian cotton, with ears for chewing and a knotted tail for twiddling. A 'safe to chew' comforter and teether.

Each scrappy toy is made from cotton scraps that are left over from the clothes Under The Nile produce, so it is also a great way of ensuring their production is as waste free as possible.

Suitable from birth and machine washable.

Quirky and colourful, this Scrappy Elephant is made from 100% organic Egyptian cotton scraps left over from Under the Nile's clothing production. He is hand-crafted and organic inside and out; made and stuffed with the purest and softest organic Egyptian cotton. His large floppy ears are perfect for chewing and his knotted tail is great for twiddling, helping to instil calm before sleep. Features pale green fine stripe design printed with metal free dyes.

Made in Egypt from 100% GOTS certified organic cotton. Certified non-toxic and child safe, meeting both European and US safety standards.

BPA, phthalates, lead, PVC free. Contains no formaldehyde glue or toxic paints, making it safe for little mouths to chew on.

Washing Instructions: Machine wash warm and tumble dry until completely dry.

Under the Nile supply villagers with daily fair trade work and enables teaching and education through their 13 Villages Project.  This project is responsible for providing health care and guidance for maintaining overall health.  Under the Nile is empowering these communities to lead happier, healthier lives.

Under the Nile's soft toys are made and stuffed with 100% of the purest and softest organic Egyptian cotton which is organically cultivated and grown, and is certified to the National Organic Program Standards (COAE) and the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS).

GOTS is recognised as the leading processing standard for textiles made from organic fibres worldwide. It defines high-level environmental criteria along the entire supply chain of organic textiles and requires compliance with social criteria as well.

Under the Nile has two certifications: one for their manufacturing process, and one for their distribution.  All Under the Nile hangtags feature the GOTS logo.
