These luxurious cashmere handwarmers are extremely soft and super warm! Post consumer pure cashmere knitwear that's come to the end of its life is cleverly turned into something useful and beautiful - with each unique piece being one of a kind and kind to the planet too!  Choose from six designs.

Why we love it

  • Upcycled - supporting sustainable fashion and saving unusable garments going to landfill
  • Handmade in Shropshire by highly trained seamstresses
  • Makes a unique, ethical, innovative and practical gift or self purchase for the eco conscious

Made from post-consumer cashmere knitwear which has been used and enjoyed then discarded when shrunk or damaged. Every garment is carefully washed and examined to see which bits can be recycled into new items. This means every garment is different and one of a kind - and strictly 100% cashmere! Using innovative and carefully constructed designs, at least 90% of each jumper is used. Any small amount of waste is used for craft packs or recycled into yarn.

Machine washable on a delicate, cold setting or hand wash in lukewarm water and dry flat. Do not tumble dry.

Approximately 8cm wide x 24cm long. Due to the handmade nature of this product and the fabric used, dimensions can vary between each piece.

Cashmere is known for its extreme softness, warmth and lustrous quality which is due to its fine fibres. The fineness of the fibre is typically between 7 and 19 microns (ordinary sheep's wool has a diameter of about 36 microns) which means that it is very soft to touch and super-warm too. The fibre itself comes from a goat and, although originally from the Kashmir Valley in Northern India, it is now farmed in Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan and Iran as well as Australia, New Zealand and Scotland. The cashmere wool is collected by combing the goats in the Spring to collect the natural shedding of the winter under-coat.

100% pure cashmere.
