SUSTAINABLE - Wonderworld is a strong advocate of protecting the environment and insists on using rubber-wood which is a renewable resource and widely accepted throughout the world as an environmentally-friendly material. Rubber-wood is obtained as a by-product from the culling of rubber trees older than 25 years of age that can no longer produce latex for commercial uses. These trees are cut down and new trees replanted. Wonderworld also has a permanent tree plantation program called the " Tree plus" Project where they calculate the numbers of rubber trees used in toy production and plant the same number of additional trees on top of those already replanted by rubber tree farmers.
