FAIRTRADE - The fairy range is made by a large IFAT supplier in Southern India. Their belief is that the route out of poverty is self-sustainable development, and they focus on educating their workforce as well as guaranteeing them secure employment, an above average wage, paid holiday, sick pay, safe and high quality working conditions and a free crèche.
The supplier also gives 40% of its profits to its own trust which supports community welfare projects including education, community health, aids awareness and environmental projects.
