On top of the usual benefits of a veneerware plate - clean, natural appearance; great rigidity even when wet and of course fully biodegradable within 4-6 months - these plates have Bamdino the dinosaur (and his girlfriend!) stamped on the front making them perfect for a children's party. And of course they are also very parent-friendly as there is no washing up afterwards!
