Our bambu lacquered bowls are made from hand coiled strips of bamboo, hand shaped and then finished with a natural food safe lacquer derived from the cashew nut tree.
Not only do the bowls look beautiful they are also very practical to use in the kitchen. The natural lacquer creates a durable waterproof finish and means the bowls are suitable for both hot and cold foods. Although not dishwasher safe, they wash easily in warm soapy water.
The biggest of the bowls, this is a real statement piece guaranteed to smarten up any kitchen. Its great as a salad bowl for a large family, or when entertaining, and also makes a stylish fruit bowl.
