The Animal Pure dog collars & leads are made from beautifully soft hemp webbing in funky colours. Hemp is great for dog collars as it is very hard wearing but also soft so doesn't rub the skin - in fact the more hemp is "worn in" the softer it gets. Being naturally hypoallergenic hemp is also great for dogs with sensitive skins.
This large collar is made from 2.5cm (1") thick webbing dyed using eco friendly (and pet friendly) dyes. With strong press catches made from part recycled material.
Adjustable from approx. size 38cm (15") to 66cm (26").

SUSTAINABLE - Hemp is quickly becoming seen as the eco-friendly alternative textile to conventionally grown cotton. It's main benefit is that it grows so fast - usually ready to harvest in about 4 months. It is also extremely tolerant of drought which is excellent for water conservation and so can be grown in difficult soil conditions where other more conventional crops won’t grow. Finally it requires little or no pesticides, fertilizers or chemicals to grow well.
